Whitstable, as a community, are showing just how strong we are when the going gets tough. So many people are offering help to those in need on Facebook and we thought it would be a great help to list the offers in one place to save searching through the feeds.
Whilst the older generation, who are greatly impacted, may not have access to Facebook, please pass on any relevant details to friends and family alike who you feel would benefit from the help being offered. Spread the word and let's fight this together.

Red Lion Canines are offering free dog walking services in the Whitstable, Tankerton and Herne Bay area for the elderly. Please call Lesley on 07856 170 627
A Facebook page called Whitstable Covid-19 Mutual Aid https://www.facebook.com/groups/3112560785463355/ has been set up for those self-isolating and are in need of help and/or supplies. This is available for those needing help as well as those able to offer help.
Your Care is offering to go shopping for the over 70's that are in self isolation or are anxious to venture out for free. Please call 01227 230 888 for assistance.
Red Zebra Community Solutions are redeploying their Social Prescribing Service for those that are isolated and vulnerable. They carry out welfare calls and have access to a stock of food parcels. Contact them on 01227 263 313 or email at: for further information. They are immediately in need of help so please call if you can assist.
Whitstable Umbrella Community Centre are distributing food parcels to those with Canterbury Food Bank vouchers. Contact to ensure stock available for collection.
