A huge thanks to everyone who donated to the community mural I've been working on with Westmeads Community Infant School . Any extra donated at https://bit.ly/3sYdrT6 will go towards other mural projects in town. The mural will appear in town one year on from lockdown.

  1. Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust

     are encouraging people 56 and over to register for the vaccine via the NHS website. Kent County Council has confirmed 11 new pharmacy led vaccination centres including one at 

    ODEON Canterbury (Canterbury, UK)

  2. With schools returning many headteachers are advising pupils receive regular lateral flow home testing kits. Parents can register for these at https://bit.ly/3qtwWRz

  3. Small and medium size businesses with under 50 employees can also now register for lateral flow tests (https://bit.ly/3cbhh4w). 

    Canterbury City Council

     have paid most of the governments business support grants up until the end of February this week - details of the restart grants announced in the budget aren't available yet

  4. Whitstable Oyster Festival

     looks likely to return this year on 27-30 August

  5. WhitSparkle

     is holding its AGM this Wednesday to discuss its ideas and plans for the year. DM them or me for the Zoom link

     is pushing free specialised advice to local firms needing help to do business with the EU post Brexit. The number is 03333 602 300

  9. Who Let the Dads Out - Whitstable

     are offering 50 dads a free craft kit with everything that they need to prepare a wonderful Mothers Day Tea with the kids next Sunday. Mums and Dad's can register by DMing their page
